Navelim Sporting too good for Penha da Franca

Navelim Sporting Club trounced Penha de Franca by a tennis score of 6-0 to move into the quarter-finals of Calangute Panchayat Cup soccer organised by Calangute Association at Poriat grounds, Calangute on Wednesday. They led 3-0 at the break.
Dominating the proceedings, Navelim shot into lead in the 23rd minute through Alvito Colaco off a pass from Joao Pereira. Hardly had the cheers died down when Milton Gomes doubled the lead for Navelim.
Navelim scored another goal through Jason Pereira.
Changing over, Navelim continued their dominance over Penha and scored again in the 21st minute through Alvito Colaco to make it 4-0.
Valent Pereira made it 5-0 for Navelim in the 29th minute. Stanford Cardozo completed the rout in the closing stages.
