“Fr. Bolmax was loved by ordinary people because he boldly stood for truth and justice. He inspired countless individuals with his courage and conviction,” Fr Rodrigues stated.
He further said that Fr Bolmax’s sudden passing has left many people shocked and emotionally wounded, while also raising several unanswered questions in the minds of the public.
“When a fearless voice for truth falls silent so suddenly, people naturally begin to ask whether truth itself has become a victim,” he remarked, while adding that history and faith have always shown that truth ultimately triumphs over injustice and corruption.
Fr Rodrigues highlighted that Fr Bolmax leaves behind a lasting legacy of courage, social commitment, and dedication towards humanity and the protection of Goa’s environment. He said the late priest’s life and mission would continue to inspire future generations to stand fearlessly for justice, truth, and human dignity.
Concluding his tribute, Fr Rodrigues prayed for eternal peace and heavenly reward for Fr Bolmax Pereira, acknowledging his tireless pastoral service, priestly ministry, and selfless contributions to society.
