Apple has increased the subscription prices of Apple Music and selected Apple One bundles across several countries, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom and parts of Europe. The revised pricing is already in effect and comes just days after the company quietly raised AppleCare+ charges for Macs and iPads.
According to Apple, the latest increase reflects rising music licensing costs. The move marks the platform’s first global price revision since October 2022 and only the second price hike for Apple Music users in India. The previous increase in the country came in late 2024, when the individual plan rose from ₹99 to ₹119 per month.

Under the revised pricing in India, the individual Apple Music subscription now costs ₹139 per month, while the family plan, which supports up to six users, has increased to ₹229. The student plan is now priced at ₹69 per month. Apple has also revised its Apple One bundles, with the entry-level plan now starting at ₹195 per month.
In the United States, the individual Apple Music plan has increased to $11.99 per month from $10.99, while the family plan now costs $19.99, up from $16.99. The student subscription has also been revised to $6.99 from $5.99. Apple has additionally raised the prices of its Apple One Family and Premier bundles, although the Individual Apple One plan remains unchanged at $19.95 per month.
Despite the latest increase, Apple Music continues to be priced below Spotify in the US, where the streaming platform recently raised its Premium plan to $12.99 per month. YouTube Music currently matches Apple’s US pricing, while in India it remains one of the most affordable mainstream music streaming services.
