One person was killed and four others injured after a car plunged from the Ponda flyover near the Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) Bus Stand in the early hours of Sunday.
The accident occurred at around 1:30 a.m., when the car carrying five people reportedly plunged from the flyover. One person died in the crash, while four others sustained injuries. Two of the injured are reportedly in critical condition.

Personnel from the Ponda Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot and rescued the occupants, who were trapped inside the vehicle. The injured were subsequently shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Further details about the accident are awaited.
