CURCHOREM: A 44-year-old man from Udel Pontemol, Curchorem, identified as Benny Coutinho, jumped off the Mirabag bridge on Monday. Curchorem fire brigade and police rushed to the scene after receiving a call from locals who witnessed the incident. Rescue operation were underway throughout the day.
Benny Coutinho’s body was not found. The search operation by Indian Navy divers was called off at 5 pm. The search will start again Tuesday morning at 8.30 am. 44-yrs-old Coutinho from Udel Pontemol, Curchorem jumped off Mirabag Bridge on Monday.
