MARGAO: The Archdiocese of Goa and Daman inaugurated the preparation for the Ordinary Jubilee 2025, along with the Church in India.
The proximate preparation for the Solemn Exposition of the Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier was also inaugurated. The Diocesan event was held at the pandal in front of the Basilica with the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Rev Fr Jose Remedios Fernandes, the Vicar General at 3.30 pm with the participation of clerics, women religious and more than five thousand lay faithful.

Fr Simião Fernandes, Convenor of the Jubilee Committee briefly introduced some of the resource material which is prepared as an aid for the preparatory phase for both the events.
Fr Henry Falcão, Convenor of the Exposition Committee provided an explanation of the Jubilee and the Exposition logos. Simultaneously, some bilingual resource material like Mass set-up for parishes, a module for enthronement of the Word in families, Rosary module for SCCs, a brief write-up for parish bulletins and a prayer to be recited in parishes and families were provided to the parishes.
