30th Anniversary of Konkani’s inclusion in 8th Schedule of Indian Constitution

It is 30 years since our mother tongue Konkani was included in the 8^th Schedule of the Indian constitution. Konkani, Manipuri and Nepali were included in the constitution in 1992 through the 71^st Amendment. On 4 February 1987 Konkani became the official language of Goa. On 30 May 1987, Goa became the 25^th State of the Indian Union.
