CM must come clean on ‘Silly Souls’ issue: Congress

PANJIM: Former Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Girish Chodankar has demanded that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should come clear over the bar and restaurant owned by the family of Union Minister Smriti Irani at Assagao. 

Chodankar also demanded the removal of Irani from the Union Cabinet terming her a pathological liar.

Recalling the alleged lies of Irani in her affidavits over qualification, and now in Silly Soul Café and Bar in Goa, which is operated by her family, Chodankar showed documents pertaining to GST, which is linked to ‘Silly Soul Café and Bar’. 

“Union Minister Smriti Irani is a 'Pathological Liar', this is known to the country when she lied about her educational qualification. Now again she is lying about the Silly Soul bar issue, which is operated by her family. There is no single inch doubt in it,” he said.
