During rainy season waterlogging along the roadsides happens to be a common phenomenon at different locations. Such a tendency proves troublesome for the travellers, in particular, pillion-riders and also the pedestrians proceeding along the road. In many cases, the vehicles proceed at a fast speed and ultimately dirty water gets splashed over the pedestrians thereby causing them great inconvenience in the process. 

Further, there is every possibility of vehicles proceeding in wrong directions in order to avoid the waterlogged portion. This may lead to a possible mishap sooner or later. Recently, waterlogging was noticed along the Tisk-Khadpabandh route in Ponda amidst rainy showers. The enclosed picture amply justifies this fact. 

The concerned authorities should take a serious note of this important issue and arrange the removal of water from waterlogged areas during monsoons so that public at large do not face any inconvenience and trouble while proceeding along the concerned routes. 

Let us hope that the needful will be done in this regard on priority basis in the interest of the travellers and pedestrians.
