It is good that government has started online service for getting several documents. Now, one has to just log in to the website (goaonline.gov.in) and he can get the required documents from the department. I used this facility for getting residential certificate and was surprised that it was really quick. 

I am very thankful to the Bicholim mamlatdar, Pravinjay Pandit who issued the certificate within two to three days after I applied for the same.

But I am sorry to say that some of the departments are not as quick as the above mentioned one. I tried to apply for employment card since it was expired, but there was no progress in this matter from Labour and Employment. 

I uploaded the application along with all the required documents on May 15 with Acknowledgement No. LEM010127206  but since then there is no progress in this matter. It is neither accepted nor rejected. I tried to call up the employment exchange but no one received the call.  

I am surprised that the employment exchange is taking so much time to handle one application. If this be the case what will be the future of all those who are unemployed and trying to seek online employment card. 

Hope the authorities including the concern minister look into the matter and take the officials to task.
