We are happy to know that ‘The staff at police stations are instructed to invite citizens… and the beat officers are also asked to visit houses of senior citizens… and to contact us when there is need of doctors and medicine and many other problems like safety and security, etc.’

The biggest problem we face in Chandor, Cavorim and Guirdolim is the tower problems. These problems should be solved first, otherwise there will be no effect of the suggestions and it will go in vain.

Senior citizens are not only old and alone who require safety and security, but some are very sick, bed-ridden, etc. When there are no mobile towers to reach in Senior Citizens’ houses to call even a doctor or neighbours for help, how does the government expect us to call your staff or helpline?

BSNL are not providing proper service and therefore all people are for mobile service. We request the concerned authority to solve the mobile tower problem first so as to ensure the safety and security of senior citizens of these villages of Chandor, Cavorim and Guirdolim.
