PANJIM: The Congress party on Sunday protested over the disqualification of its senior party leader Rahul Gandhi as a Member of Parliament (MP) at Gandhi Circle, Old Goa.
The protest was led by GPCC President Amit Patkar and Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao.
They said that the BJP-led Central government has targeted Gandhi as he exposed the alleged links between the saffron party and the business tycoon Gautam Adani.
“Within 24 hours, a decision is taken against Gandhi what about the disqualification of Goa MLAs who switched sides?” Yuri Alemao, questioned the government.
