North SP checks preparedness in Pernem ahead of p’yat polls

SP North informed that a proposal has been received for an independent police station for Mandrem constituency

PERNEM: In view of upcoming panchayat polls, North Goa SP Shobit Saxena visited the Pernem police station to take stalk of the preparations.

SP convened a meeting with DySp Pernem Sidhant Shirodkar and Pernem PI Dattaram Raut to discuss the security, and law and order in view of the panchayat polls.

SP North informed that a proposal has been received for an independent police station for Mandrem constituency where the premises of multipurpose cyclone shelter located at Mandrem is suggested for the same.

"We have received a proposal for an independent police station for Mandrem for which the premise of multipurpose cyclone shelter is suggested. I will go through the proposal and further decision will be taken," Saxena said.
