PERNEM: In a narcotic raid, Pernem Police arrested one Uday Singh, native of Punjab for illegal possession with drugs on Wednesday.
On receiving reliable information, Pernem police conducted a narcotic raid at 5 pm at Temwada in Morjim and arrested one Uday, son of Lalman Singh 34, presently residing at Pokewada and native of Amritsar for illegal possession of narcotic substance suspected to be Ganja weight around 1.125 gms worth rupees 1, 12,000 which was concealed in two wheeler Yamaha Fascino which he was to sell to a perspective customer.
However, Pernem police have seized the scooted. Police have booked the alleged accuse under section 20b(ii)(B)Act. Accuse was also running a cafe in Morjim.
