MARGAO: The sacred Peetharohan Ceremony of H. H. Srimad Vidyadheesh Teerth Shripad Vader Swami Maharaj will be performed in the holy precincts of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Mutt on Ashadha Krishna Saptami, Plav Samvatsar, Shake 1943, on July 30, informed President of the Math Committee Shrinivas Dempo.
The function will be held in the Holy Precincts of 540 years old Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math located on the banks of Kushavati River in Canacona taluka.
H. H. Srimad Vidyadheesh Teerth Swami Maharaj is a disciple of Twenty Third Swamiji of the Math hierarchy, H. H. Srimad Vidyadhiraj Teerth Swamiji who attained Mahanirvana recently.
As you will acknowledge that the time-honoured rituals of the Mutt have to be carried out as prescribed, it becomes our prime duty to comply and complete these rituals despite the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic stated Dempo.
He also informed that attempt is being made to relay the Peetharohana Ceremony live or relay the recordings subject to technical conditions. Followers of the Mutt can see the programme from their home itself.
