State’s recovery rate touches 91%

PANJIM: Goa’s fatalities on Monday came down to two, with both deaths recorded in GMC.

The deceased were an 87-year-old male from Pomburpa and a 59-year-old male from Ambelim. Both of them had co-morbidities. 

The State’s death toll has now reached 557. On Wednesday, 308 new cases of COVID19 infection were recorded with 408 declared as cured. The total active cases now stands at 3,099, whereas the total number of confirmed cases is 41,339. The recoveries stand at 37683.

Thus the State’s recovery rate now stands at 91.1%. The mortality rate is 1.34% of positive cases.
