TCP Dept launches e-mail address, gets 35 complaints on land-related matters

PANJIM: As many as 35 complaints of alleged illegalities were received by the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department on the very first day of launching an e-mail address for various illegal land related matters in Goa. 

TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane informed this in a tweet. He said, “The people of Goa have shown great confidence in us with just day one on the launch of our email address for reporting illegalities, and we have received 35 complaints. The complaints received have been successfully forwarded to the respective departments (Town and Country Planning and Forest Department) by our office so that necessary action can be initiated.” 

“I am grateful and appreciative that our people have confidence in us, which has given us the required boost to take prompt action to safeguard the interests of our beautiful landscapes and the people of Goa,” he said urging the people to continue reporting such illegalities in the State.
