‘Only 365 students to answer exams on first day’

panjim: Addressing a press conference, the Secretary of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE), Bhagirath Shetye, said that on the first day only 365 students will answer the exams as it is a pre-vocational paper.

The Secretary also shrugged off suggestions regarding the possibility of transport problems during the lockdown and said, “90 per cent of the students will answer papers in their own schools so there should not be any major issue of public transport.”

Further, the secretary added that in case of any students suffering from ‘exam phobia’, they will be attended to by the counsellors that have been made available. 

“Parents will be asked to maintain a buffer zone of 200 metre for purpose of social distancing,” he said.
