Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate India Energy Week 2024 and lead the Vikasit Bharat Vikasit Goem 2047 rally during his scheduled visit to Goa on February 6th. The announcement was made during a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) meeting chaired by BJP Goa Election Incharge for Lok Sabha polls, Ashish Sood.
Today's meeting, attended by CM Sawant, President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Union Minister Shripad Naik, and members of the BJP Goa Core Committee at BJP Office, Panaji, aimed at reviewing election preparedness for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
CM Sawant anticipates a crowd exceeding 50 thousand at the KTC Bus Stand in Margao for PM Modi's public meeting. During the visit, PM Modi will also launch India Energy Week 2024, addressing various upcoming infrastructure and developmental initiatives in the state.
BJP Sah Prabhari Ashish Sood provided insights and guidance on the upcoming Lok Sabha election preparation, emphasizing the party's readiness. CM Sawant outlined additional party plans, including a trip to Ram Mandir on behalf of the BJP party (not the government). Two trains will be arranged for party members and local citizens interested in participating from February 12th to 26th.
Additionally, CM Sawant announced plans for a permanent BJP office, with the foundation stone to be laid by J.P. Nadda, President of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
