Road-rage incident turned fatal; Cab driver shot dead near Red Fort in Delhi
The 36-year-old cab driver was shot dead, a 15-year-old boy was also admitted with gunshot wounds.

In a tragic
incident, a 36-year-old cab driver was shot dead near the iconic Red Fort in
Delhi. The incident, which is believed to be a result of road rage, also left a
teenager injured.
The incident
took place in the early hours of Monday when the police received a distress
call from the LNJP Hospital. The caller informed the police about the admission
of Mohammad Sakib, a resident of Zakir Nagar, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
Along with Sakib, a 15-year-old boy named Luv Khush from Palwal was also
admitted with gunshot wounds.
Acting
swiftly, a police team was dispatched to the location mentioned in the call. It
was later revealed that the two victims had been involved in an altercation
with the accused, who is yet to be identified. According to eyewitnesses, the
altercation turned violent when the accused pulled out a gun and shot at Sakib
and Khush.
Despite the
best efforts of the medical team, Sakib could not be saved and succumbed to his
injuries. Khush, on the other hand, is currently receiving treatment and is
said to be in a stable condition. The police are investigating the matter and
are on the lookout for the perpetrator.
The incident
has once again raised concerns about the growing cases of road rage in the
country. This senseless act of violence highlights the need for stricter laws
and better enforcement to prevent such incidents from happening. It also serves
as a wake-up call for individuals to exercise restraint and patience while
driving.
