In a tragic incident, a 36-year-old cab driver was shot dead near the iconic Red Fort in Delhi. The incident, which is believed to be a result of road rage, also left a teenager injured.

The incident took place in the early hours of Monday when the police received a distress call from the LNJP Hospital. The caller informed the police about the admission of Mohammad Sakib, a resident of Zakir Nagar, who had suffered a gunshot wound. Along with Sakib, a 15-year-old boy named Luv Khush from Palwal was also admitted with gunshot wounds.

Acting swiftly, a police team was dispatched to the location mentioned in the call. It was later revealed that the two victims had been involved in an altercation with the accused, who is yet to be identified. According to eyewitnesses, the altercation turned violent when the accused pulled out a gun and shot at Sakib and Khush.

Despite the best efforts of the medical team, Sakib could not be saved and succumbed to his injuries. Khush, on the other hand, is currently receiving treatment and is said to be in a stable condition. The police are investigating the matter and are on the lookout for the perpetrator.

The incident has once again raised concerns about the growing cases of road rage in the country. This senseless act of violence highlights the need for stricter laws and better enforcement to prevent such incidents from happening. It also serves as a wake-up call for individuals to exercise restraint and patience while driving.
