SANKHALIM: Raia Sporting Club shot-out United Club of Assonara 8 - 7 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-final of the late Mussa Ali Aga all Goa inter village football tournament, organised by Eagle Sports Club, Sankhalim, at Sankhali Municipal ground, on Friday.
Kunal Shirodkar netted a hat-trick for United club of Assonora in the seventh, 13th and 35th minutes respectively.
As the match progressed, in the 39th minute, Raia Sporting Club went all guns blazing and netted a hat-trick through Clive Cardozo in the 39th, 48th and 50th minutes respectively.
In the tie-breaker, Raia Sporting Club netted through Valito Cruz, Liston Cardozo, Clive Cardozo, Stevan Alvares and Houston Barboza while Rajesh Salgoankar, Aakash, Kunal Salgoankar and Gauresh Bogde found the net for United Club of Assonora.
