RAIA: Sakshi Kale, a para athlete, clinched the gold medal in long jump, secured silver in the 100 meters, and earned bronze in the 200 meters at the 6th Indian Open Para Athletics International Championship 2024 in Bengaluru. The event took place from March 24 to 27 at the Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium, hosted by the Paralympic Committee of India. Hailing from Usgao, Sakshi is the only Goan para athlete studying at the Government College of Khandola. At just 19 years old, she has brought pride to Goa with her outstanding performance on the international stage.
