NAVELIM: Salgaocar Veterans defeated Navelim Veterans 5-2 in the exhibition match, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday. 

Alex Ambrose opened the score-line for Salgaocar in the third minute. Six minutes later, Denis Cabral equalised for Navelim.

Thereafter, Venkatesh doubled the lead for Salgaocar. Salgaocar further inflated the lead through Alex Ambrose in the 35th minute. 

In the second half, Gasper Crasto made it 4-1 for Salgaocar. Two minutes later, Sukdev Arwade made it 2-4 for Navelim. 

With just four minutes left for the final whistle, Alex Ambrose made it 5-2 for Salgaocar.

Navelim Parish Priest was the chief guest while Succour Coutinho was the guest of honour.
