NAVELIM: Sesa Football Academy boys (U-15) displayed a remarkable performance throughout 90 minutes to sail past Churchill Brothers SC (U-15) 4-0 in the ongoing Hero India Youth League, at Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Thursday.

SFA boys broke the deadlock in the 30th minute after a brilliant through ball from Sahil allowed Ashish Chari to breakthrough. A soft first touch allowed Sahil to find space inside the penalty area and placed it into the back of the net.

In the extra time of the first half, Clarison Fernandes took an attempt on goal from a free-kick outside the penalty box. He shot straight at the top bar as SFA looked for a second goal before the break.

SFA boys missed a number of chances in the second half as Churchill duo tried to pressurise the opposition defense with slick attacks.

SFA midfielder Sereno Noronha crossed from left-wing deep inside the opposition half to provide Crespo D’Souza in the 87th minute who placed it in the bottom right corner of the goal.

SFA scored two more goals in the extra time of the second half as the players sealed a comfortable victory.

Aryan Vaigankar scored twice; one from a corner which was cleared by Churchill Brothers SC keeper Prakash Joshi but found Aryan's feet at the edge of the box who placed it in the back of the net.

The second goal came from a long-range attempt that the Churchill Brothers SC keeper failed to save.
