AN ENCOUNTER WITH NATURE

Everything about nature amazes me. Nature is so complex and intricate and yet beautiful and inspiring. One thing I’ve realized is that nature can only teach you what you are open to discovering. 

Since everyone approaches nature from their own unique perspective, it all starts with having a right attitude that aligns with your own personal interests.

Many people today have lost their sense of genuine appreciation for life. Nature on the other hand helps us to slow down out of the whirlwind and tune our minds with the positive things in life. The more you look at nature and connect with the outdoors, you will experience many unique sights, sounds & smells to tantalize your senses. There’s something around every turn to captivate your awareness.

Nature is filled with so many amazing mysteries and beautiful moments that inspire the mind. As you center your five senses, you’ll naturally drop into a serene state of mind that is both mentally calm and emotionally peaceful. It brings balance to the daily negativity that so many of us are exposed to. 

If we slowed down, we would see that there are many lessons in nature that provide guidance. We just have to open our eyes and hearts to see them all around us. Let’s reflect on some of the key elements:

Earth represents the common ground of all beings, accepting unconditionally and coexisting in harmony without expectation speaks about to live a life in cordial relationship with all beings.

Air carries everything but it is not polluted for long by what it carries. If we carry our disappointments or hurts in a similar way and not allow them to become intrinsic part of life, we will experience peace of mind.

Water never seeks attention nor does it need any reward or recognition. It helps all the plants grow and keeps all the animals alive, finding a solution without force or conflict when hit by an obstacle and openness to change its state. Be humble, adaptable and harmonious. It is so much fulfilling and meaningful.

Trees teach us to be courageous, stay rooted and fruitful while soaring to great heights. We need to be grounded no matter how high we go as our roots  resembles our spiritual strength that enables us to sustain against 

all odds.

Like the birds who lead challenging existences fraught with danger and yet they move forward and remain in a constant source of joy for everyone. Let’s be positive, brave and find our own space to explore and thrive.

Flowers are gift to this earth. Flowers being a part of nature teaches us what is life is all about makes us understand the true meaning of life. It does not try to compete against the flower that is planted next to it but just blooms and becomes an object of beauty. Live a life with your true identity without competition and comparison.

So next time when you’re feeling lost emotionally and mentally or need a gentle push, take a moment. Don’t hurry. Be steady. Just be and ponder these life lessons we can learn from nature.
