Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday issued a stern warning to Pakistan, declaring that “every inch of Pakistan’s territory lies within range of BrahMos” and calling Operation Sindoor “just a trailer.”
Speaking at the BrahMos Aerospace unit in Lucknow’s Sarojini Nagar, where he and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the first batch of BrahMos missiles, Singh said the operation had proven that “victory has become a habit for India.”

“BrahMos is not just a missile, it is proof of India’s strategic confidence,” Singh said, adding that the weapon system had become a key pillar of India’s Army, Navy and Air Force.
According to Singh, Operation Sindoor demonstrated India’s growing military strength and forced Pakistan to “realise the consequences” of provoking India. “If India could create Pakistan, then if the time comes… I need not say more,” he remarked.
Under Operation Sindoor, India’s forces used BrahMos missiles to destroy terror and defence installations in Pakistan in May, following the April 22 terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam that killed 26 people.
Chief Minister Adityanath hailed the BrahMos project as a symbol of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ vision and said Uttar Pradesh was emerging as a major hub of indigenous defence production.
