PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has preferred to remain tight-lipped on allegations of ‘weak leadership’ by Goa Forward Party over the River Mhadei matter. “Wait for eight days. Once I get the letter, I will give it you and you can give them (GFP) the answer,” he said replying to a query by journalists over GFP’s scathing attack on the government.
GFP president Vijai Sardesai, on Wednesday, had called Sawant an “accidental CM” claiming weak leadership was responsible for the current fiasco over diversion of water from River Mhadei.
Sawant on Monday had led an all-party delegation to Delhi.
