Before touts were allegedly operating in Tourism Dept, were there touts operating in the New & Renewable Energy dept?
Allegations were made in Goa Assembly during Question Hour and three people were named as allegedly taking money for sanctioning subsidies for Electric Vehicles. It was stated that officers were taking cheques for releasing the subsidy. Power and NRE Minister Sudin Dhavalikar denied that there were any touts in the New & Renewable Energy dept and that they would inquire into it. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant called on the MLA to file a complaint and action would be taken. The MLA however replied that any statement made in the house should be taken as a complaint
