MARGAO: 23-year-old driver escaped unhurt when the Ford Car in which he was driving caught fire near Agnel Ashram, Verna. Car suffered damages.
According to Verna Police, Ford Car driven by a youth was moving towards Vasco and when he reached near Agnel Ashram, the car caught fire. However, the driver managed to stop the car and come out unhurt.

Police said that the youth saw smoke emitting out from his car and suspecting danger, he stopped the car. Later, he removed valuables from inside the car. The driver was unhurt.
Verna Police Station Head Constable Babaji Matker said that on Saturday at around 7.45 pm they got information about an incident of fire which caught a moving car.
