I have been stressing all the time that the advertising boards must be restricted on highways which causes distraction to traffic drivers and the occupants in the car. These boards are seen fixed mostly on electric poles, compound walls and trees.
I have attached a photograph of these advertisement boards erected on the median of the road from Dona Paula to Panjim and Dona Paula to Bambolim. Concerned authorities must restrict or not allow them to install these boards which are the main cause for accidents.
