The area near SGPDA market on the northern side was used for dumping rotten fish and thermocol containers, now converted for dumping leftover fish with plastic trays which is causing bad unbearable odour apart from making the area dirty.
The dumping is slowly encroaching the road and may lead to one lane movement in near future. The public visiting the fish market is forced to wear masks or close nostrils temporarily. It is a wonder that none of the elected representatives MLA/Councillor or those controlling SGPDA are passing by this particular area or matter is ignored leaving the public at bay. Is the rotten fish smell an attraction for the public? Immediate action is needed as it may affect the health of nearby residents in particular and the general public at large.
