Roads have been dug at several places at Bicholim and nearby places for undertaking repair works. While it is a good initiative of the department concerned to undertake this job in the interest of the public, the authorities should restore the roads no sooner their job is completed.
The dug-up roads not only cause traffic congestion but are also risky especially for two-wheelers as there is a risk of slipping on the sludge which can even prove fatal for the innocent public.

Besides, the roads need to be restored to their normal level, as the unevenness of the roads increases the nature of fatalities.
