Babu won medals in Laser Run individual men’s, Laser Run men’s team and the Laser Run Mixed Relay, while the State’s Laser Run women’s team bagged the bronze medal.
Babu, who won the gold medal in the last National Games, said, “The weather was very cold and it affected me. My timing was good, but one shot hurt me in the competition.
The time difference to claim the gold medal was mere five seconds.”
Babu is likely to be rewarded for his performance at the Games by the State government.
