GU to grade second, fourth & sixth semester students based on performance

PANJIM: The Goa University had cancelled Semester End Examinations (SEE) for the second, fourth and sixth semester regular students of the B.Pharm programme offered at the affiliated colleges of pharmacy for the current academic year 2019-20.

In a circular issued, Registrar YV Reddy has said the students of second and fourth semester will be graded based on the marks scored by them in Internal Examination- Sessional Assessment (SA) during the current Semester. The best performance in two internal tests will be considered.

In case of semester six, the performance in one internal test will be considered for calculating the grade. 

The Final Year Examinations and Repeat Examinations of lower Semesters shall be conducted from July 1 onwards.  No student shall be detained from moving to the next Semester.

However, the students, who fail after applying the grading scheme, will have to pass the examination for the courses in which he or she failed, whenever the examination is held next.
