PANJIM: The High Court of Bombay at Goa on Friday directed Vasco-based businessman Munnalal Halwai to submit all the documents related to the bribery case against former Inspector General of Police Sunil Garg.
Garg has challenged the order of the Panjim JMFC directing Anti-Corruption Branch to register the case under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The Court has granted Garg interim relief till April 5 when the case will be heard again.
Halwai had complained that Garg had demanded and accepted Rs 5.5 lakh to register an FIR at Ponda Police Station.
