QUEPEM: The Quepem Police on Friday arrested a 22-year-old youth from Jharkhand in connection with the theft of valuables including electronic items from a house at Devbhat, Amona.

The police identified the accused as Dhiraj Gosai. Quepem PI Deepak Pedneker has registered an offence against the accused under Sections 457 and 380 of the IPC.
According to police sources, the accused allegedly broke the door of the house and stole a DSLR camera, two watches, 30 blankets and tablecloths and 20 towels among other items. The police said that the stolen property is being recovered.
