KR cancels several trains between Feb 5 and 7

MARGAO: Around 20 Konkan Railway trains have been cancelled for the period between February 5 and February 7 due to upgradation work by Central Railway.

The 5th and 6th railway line between Thane-Diva junction section of Mumbai division over Central Railway is being upgraded. There will also be short termination of 6 trains and short origination of 6 trains due to the ongoing work.  

In a separate development, the temporary cancellation of Train no 10101 / 10102 Ratnagiri-Madgaon Junction – Ratnagiri Daily Express has been further extended to March 31, 2022.  Earlier, the train had been cancelled until February 2, 2022.  The train has been cancelled due to ongoing tunnel maintenance and railway electrification work between Ratnagiri-Madgaon section.

Meanwhile the South Western Railway will undertake upgradation works between Shravanabelagola-Hassan Jn. section over South Western Railway from February 3 to March 15. 

Repercussion to train services are as under:

Train no 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express journey which will commence on February 4, 7 & 9 will be regulated for 35 minutes at Channarayapatna station.

Train no. 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express journey which will commence on February 11, 14, 16 & 18 will be regulated for 60 minutes at Shravanabelagola station.

Train no. 16515 Yesvantpur-Karwar Express journey which will commence on February 21, 23, 25, 28, March 2 & 4 will be regulated for 15 minutes at Samudravalli station.
