MARGAO: Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho on Sunday castigated RSS chief Mohan Bhagat for his “sexist” comment on role of women in society and derided him for saying that women should be just housewives while the husbands should be the bread earners.
“His mentality sucks and this shows that he is against women,” Coutinho said pointing out that the RSS chief has a very narrow mind. She said it is time he knew about gender parity and acknowledge the fact that women the world over have reached great heights be it in space, medical care, education or corporate houses.
She urged the women ministers in the Union cabinet to set an example for the RSS chief.
