MARGAO: Jayesh Naik, 36, resident of Cotta-Balli, Fatorpa who was arrested on Sept 13 for the alleged murder his wife Jiya at his house was produced before JMFC, Margao on September 14 who remanded him for 12 days in police custody.
Naik is alleged to have murdered his wife Jiya by stabbing multiple times with three knifes after scuffle on September 12 after which he escaped with his Pleasure scooter to Canaguinim-Cabo de Ram only to be arrested later on September 14 at Porvorim by the police.
