VASCO: The Chairman and Managing Director of Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) Admiral (retd) Shekhar Mital on Thursday said that the allegation made by the one minority union at GSL about unfair labour practice and on wage revision has no merits and GSL cannot allow the minority workers union to hijack the agenda which the GSL has been exhibiting.
He was responding to the accusations made by Goa Shipyard Kamdar Ekvott that GSL was indulging in unfair labour practices by using minority unions.
to sign an memorandum of understanding and force the same on the GSL workers by demanding undertaking from individual workers stating that they accept the said MoU.
