VASCO: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Cortalim Olencio Simoes has clarified that his statement on bifurcation of Zuarinagar from the Sancoale panchayat was only to draw an analogy and slammed Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar for creating confusion by misinterpreting his remark.
Responding to Borkar’s warning to AAP for suggesting the bifurcation of Zuarinagar from Sancoale Panchayat, Simoes said, “Understanding an issue seems to be a problem here, I am not asking for a separate panchayat for Zuari Nagar, it’s an analogy as in drawing comparison. My statement is clear, it seems like Borkar wants to create further confusion by misinterpreting my statement or he is insecure as he fears losing grip on the migrants, whom he has being “exploiting” for several decades.”
