PONDA: Property worth nearly Rs 2 lakh was destroyed in a fire incident reported at Hadkona, Bhoma on Sunday night.
According to Ponda Fire Station officials, a house belonging to Vasanth Fadte caught fire and before they could reach the site, half of the house including the roof, clothes and utensils worth nearly Rs 2 lakh were gutted.
