Protesting Anganwadi workers approach CM Sawant

The seven terminated Anganwadi workers who have been protesting at Azad maidan, Panjim for 35 days met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday. The Chief Minister was visiting the Goa Chamber of Commerce Industry, while leaving the seven women approached him and put forth their grievances. Sawant suggested that the women meet the secretary and that he will inform the secretary of their grievances. Now, due to declining health owing to their hunger strike the women are yet to decide if they will meet the secretary.
