PANJIM: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) Board on Wednesday accorded its approval for a draft outline development plan (ODP) of Arpora-Nagoa-Parra villages, which are part of Calangute-Candolim Planning and Development Area (PDA).
Also, the draft ODP of Bambolim, under the Greater Panjim Planning and Development Area (GPPDA) was granted nod by the Board.
Addressing the media persons post meeting, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for TCP Chandrakant Kavlekar said the draft ODPs of Arpora-Nagoa-Parra villages and Bambolim, covering Goa University area, have been approved by the Board.
Kavlekar said the draft plans will be kept open for public suggestions and objections, if any, for a period of 60 days before finalising it.
“The suggestions and objections will be taken into consideration before finalising the ODP,” Deputy Chief Minister said.
Meanwhile, TCP Board has also granted provisional approvals to 84 applications under Section 16B of TCP Act.
Kavlekar said that 60 applications are between 500 sq mts to 1000 sq mts.
