State BJP chief Vinay Tendulkar ruled out the possibility of a leadership change in Goa stating, “Manohar Parrikar is fit enough to handle the responsibility, and he has been doing it efficiently. At this point we don’t see any need for leadership change. My meeting with Parrikar on August 29 was not related to leadership change but just a courtesy visit,” he said. With Chief Minister leaving for USA, there was speculation that Parrikar may step down as the head of the government.
