PANJIM: Heath Minister Vishwajit Rane, who is on a three-day visit to Delhi, on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and urged him to fast track the proposed AIIMS in Goa.
“I met the Home Minister Amit Shahji and congratulated him on the fantastic decision on abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and informed him on how proud we are to be with the Bharatiya Janata Party,” he said in a message.
Further, Rane said, “I also urged him to put in a work for AIIMS in Goa besides several other projects.”
Rane has proposed AIIMS in Goa and said that the State has identified land at many places. Rane said he also met several officers in Delhi especially NCSDC to have a international state-of-the-art skill development centre in Goa and for creating a national centre wherein people from Goa and others can be skilled.
“I will be meeting M N Pandey, honourable Minister for Skill Development tomorrow on how to go about the MoU. I will also meet Women and Child Minister Smriti Irani,” he added.
