SALIGAO: Albert Developers Veterans scored a narrow 2-1 win over Vasco Veterans in the inaugural match of the All-Goa veterans soccer tournament organised by Saligao Sporting Club, played at Saligao ground, on Sunday.
At half-time Vasco led by a goal margin when in the 7th minute of play as Martin Pereira unleashed a powered shot which crashed into the Albert Developers nylons making it 1-0.
Crossing over, Albert Developers were all over the rival territory and managed to restore parity in the 52nd minute of play through Marcus Colaco who scored off a header off Francis’s cross, 1-1.
In the closing stages of the match Albert Developers came with the match winner through Francis Colaco.
