MAPUSA: St Thomas High School, Aldona and Chubby Cheeks School, Porvorim won their respective matches to advance into the second round of under-17 boys Bardez Taluka inter-school football tournament organized by DSYA, at Tivim ground, on Friday.
St Thomas outplayed Dr Ambedkar High School, Cunchelim 6-0 margin while Chubby Cheeks got the better of Assagao Union High School, Assagao 4-3 via the tie-breaker after the teams were locked in a goalless draw at full time.
