CHORAO: Devki Krishan Cricketers, Madel got the better of Gopal Krishna Cricketers by four wickets in the final of inter-Chorao limited overs tennis ball cricket tournament, at Kherad ground, here, on Sunday.
Devki Krishna were awarded Rs 4,000 and trophy while the runner-up ha to be content with Rs 3,000 and the runner-up trophy.
Individual prizes were awarded to Best Player of the tournament Harsh of Gopal Krishna and man-of-the-match Pradeep Ghadi of Devki Krishna Cricketers.
Chorao’s acting sarpanch Shamba kalangutkar was the chief guest and distributed the prizes. In all, 26 teams participated.
