RAIA: Fr Agnel YSC, Paroda, edged past Raia Sporting Club 6-5 via tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of 45th St Joseph Festival football tournament organised by Dramapur SC, at Dramapur ground, on Monday.
Fr Agnel YSC missed the goal scoring chances through Clifton and Shelton in the 6th and 12th minute, while for Raia SC Joswel Cardozo to missed chances in the second half.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Fr Agnel YSC netted through
Kanchan Kiro, Omkar Gaonkar, Allister Menezes, Livan Clemente, Clifton Fernandes and Selton Fernandes. For
Raia SC Joswel Cardozo, Achilles Fernandes, Sydney Gauncar, Movien Gauncar and Ancel Tavares scored.
